1. About Boda Yetu

Boda Yetu is a digital platform designed to support trust and transparency within the bodaboda community by allowing riders to create profiles and enabling users to provide feedback and validation based on real interactions.

Boda Yetu does not operate as a transport service and does not employ riders. We only provide a platform for information sharing.

2. Eligibility

To use Boda Yetu, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Confirm that you possess a valid government-issued identification document
  • Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

3. Identity Declaration (Important)

Boda Yetu does not collect, store, or process national ID documents or ID numbers.

By creating an account, riders confirm that:

  • They possess a valid government-issued ID
  • They can present such ID if lawfully required by authorities or partners

Boda Yetu relies on self-declared information and community validation and does not guarantee identity verification.

4. User Accounts

  • Users are responsible for maintaining accurate information
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • False, misleading, or abusive behavior may result in account suspension or removal

5. Fees and Payments

Fees charged by Boda Yetu are for platform access and services only and do not constitute government fees, licensing fees, or official verification charges. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

6. Community Validation & Feedback

  • Users may provide ratings or validation based on genuine interactions
  • Reviews must be honest, respectful, and non-defamatory
  • Boda Yetu reserves the right to remove content that violates community standards
  • Validation reflects community opinion, not official verification.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

8. Limitation of Liability

Boda Yetu:

  • Does not guarantee rider behavior or conduct
  • Is not responsible for disputes between users and riders
  • Is not liable for loss, injury, or damages arising from platform use

Boda Yetu may suspend or terminate accounts that:
